AI Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated AI Engineer to join our innovative team. This role will focus on developing and optimizing AI models and algorithms that power the Nexus platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and software development, with a passion for creating impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Model Development: Design, implement, and optimize machine learning and AI models to solve complex business problems related to supply chain logistics.
Algorithm Optimization: Enhance the performance and accuracy of existing algorithms and develop new approaches to improve the Nexus platform's capabilities.
Data Pipeline Integration: Work closely with data engineers to integrate AI models into scalable data pipelines, ensuring efficient data processing and model deployment.
Collaboration: Partner with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI and machine learning, and apply this knowledge to innovate and advance our technology stack.
Documentation and Maintenance: Document model development processes, maintain codebases, and provide support for AI-related production issues.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience in AI engineering, machine learning, or a similar role, with a proven track record of deploying production environments.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
Data Handling: Strong understanding of data structures, data preprocessing, and experience with databases and big data technologies.
Domain Knowledge: Experience in logistics, supply chain, or related industries is advantageous.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
